Last week halo 3 Beta came out!!! As i said in my podcast i wasnt able to get a copy but i think i found a way to get halo 3 beta. All you have to do is go to your local Target, Best Buy, Or any electronic store and look for a brand new game of Crackdown with a sticker in the lower left hand corner. That sticker says that your copy of Crackdown encludes an invitation to get the halo 3 beta. For sure im going to get crackdown and get halo 3 beta. once i get it if i do ill tell later how to acess the beta demo. Heres a video of the Halo 3 Beta enjoy!!!! Oh wait before i forget Halo 3 is set to release on Spetember 25 2007. Time to pre-order if you havn't yet!!! Here's Betalicious!

49ers

"SPEAK OUT AGAINST S.B. 49

Recently, a bill was introduced in the California state legislature designed to prohibit the team from partnering with a Bay Area city other than San Francisco to build a new stadium. The bill, entitled S.B. 49, would essentially create a “no-49ers-stadium zone” throughout the region and make it virtually impossible for the team to stay in the Bay Area. This bill was passed by the california state legislature about stopping the San Francisco 49ers to re-locate to the Santa Clara Area. This bill would force the 49ers to stay in San Francisco and not to leave. This bill has outraged a few of the 49er faithful around the bay area. Most of the faithful support the 49ers moving to Santa Clara even though the driving time would be alot longer most of all of them would travel the distance to go to the games. This bill was passed because of what i think that the city of San Francisco doesnt want the 49ers to leave the area near hunters point. Also this would enclude a decreace in the local economy. Probally thats why they do not want them to go. Also personally i think it is Mayor Newsom's fault for letting the 49ers go beacsue way before he came into office former SF Mayor Willie Brown knew of this possibility of the 49ers moving away and for Newsom to take immediate action to prevent the 49ers from leaving. Newsom took no action what so ever in tring to attempt to keep the 49ers in Monster Park. He only decided to take action when it was too late and now the state is tring to prevent the relocation of the SF 49ers.

I think that yes the 49ers should move away from SF becasue if the 49ers do remodel Monster Park and put a mall over there it would create more problems with all the parking and such. Many fans that i know from my uncle talked all the time about the ideas about remodeling "Candlestick". No one liked the idea of a parking garage because well it wouldn't be to much fun to tailgate anymore. My uncle being a Season ticket holder for about 15 years now told me that the 49ers should move away becasue it gets really cold at Monster Park at night and in Santa Clara it would be a bit warmer and really virtually no FOG! This bill should be stopped becasue if it isnt we lose the 49ers and they wont be in our state anymore.

Warriors Win Series 4-2

Last night game 6 of the NBA playoffs the Warriors took the win and now move on to the next round in the road to the Finals. Last night the Warriors playing at a packed Oracle Arena took the victory they needed to put the mavs away. The final score of the game was the warriors 111 the mavricks 86. All last night I watched this game on the edge of my bed. I was really into the game watching every play as it went on. I am usually not a basketball fan but now theres a BIG reason to start. From what I know the Warriors have not gone this far into the playoffs since 13 years ago. Now in the thick of it all they are pushing themselves foward and making sports critics jaws drop. When the series started some sports critics on the radio and on the news said that the warriors would not make it past the Dallas Mavricks. But as of last night i think they should change their minds becasue now they are moving on into round two of the NBA playoffs. Personally i think the Warriors lost game 5 in Dallas because they wanted to play here and to win the series infront of their all of their fans. This was a great game to watch just to see the Warriors make it this far. I personally think that maybe they'll make it pretty far.

Podcasts

Well I subscribed to podcasts about the NFL Draft that took place this past weekend which i was glued to my T.V. for the first rounds. Well finding the podcasts about the draft was very easy. Listening to what most of the people had to say about who picked what really got my attention. I just never thought to look here in itunes if they had some stuff about the draft. The only part which i thought was irritating was the downloading time. For some it took about 5-7 min to download. But it was worth it. I also subcribed to Podcasts about the NBA playoffs and about the Warriors chances of making it far in this years playoffs. It was pretty intresting to hear what people had to say. Like its a fluke the warriors are winning and that the Mavs should be able to stop them from winning in game 5

Family x2

I still need to find some pictues but really my family is the people that love and care for me. This includes my immediate famliy being my mom, dad, my uncles Noy and Roy, My aunts Uni and Cherry, and my close cousins that live just about up the hill from my house. My family also includes my very close friends that I am with all of the time. All together they make up my family. They are my family becasue well they are the people that love and care for me and look out for me. Also because I hang out with them spend time and just plainly have fun with them. What makes my family a family is that all of us (seprate times) would go out and be with either if its at a party or just walking around the city. Its just really all of us spending time laughing around and having fun is what i concider a family does

Family

My idea of family is basically the people around you. Like the people that live in oyur house such as your parents. Also I would include your realitives even if they live somewhere around the world. I believe that a family can include a mom and a dad their kids their close realitives and pets. the people in my circle is my parents my aunts and uncles here in the Bay Area and also the ones that live in the Philippines and around the U.S. It also includes all of my 1st and 2nd cousins that i hang out with when i get a chance to see them. My immediate family is pretty small just being myself , my parents, my two aunts and uncles, and my 5 cousins. Well thats pretty big but if you include everyone that still live in the Philippines i have a very big family. Its so big that sometimes i meet people that I don't even know that I'm related to till either my parents or they tell me unless i know. i believe this quote "Families evolve from a patchwork of possibilities" means that families were once just thoughts something small but as time moved foward the family grew and grew to what it is today.

Project Presentations

Well we just finished watching the rest of the presentations today. The two presentations about video games and Counter Strike i already knew. I didn't really learn much from the Counter Strike presentation becasue i really didn't make any sence to do a project on that topic. I mean like really a project on the future of Counter Strike. If the project was either comparing games or seeing if it could effect your mood such as does it effect your emotions in anyway when you play could of been a better project in my opinion.

The other project about the three game systems really i had already know about and I had noticed a few mistakes with in the project. Tho it was good and comparing to someone that plays alot of video games it was pretty well projected. For example with the Xbox 360. Like you can't play all of the games the original Xbox had in its collection. The only way to do that is to wait and see if Microsoft will start an update to make that old xbox game backwards compatible. Also you would need XboxLive to recieve these updates.

Yesterdays presentations were alot better than today's in my opinion. Just becasue alot of new ideas were introduced to us through the projects. Such like ours about PDA. I think that many people in our class really looked into it and what they actually thought PDA is now then what they had know before.

Also the whole thing with immagration. Even though there was some discrimminating remarks many people changed their ideas about what they think immagration also is.

Pitfalls & Difficulties

I think there could be a lot of pitfalls with this problem. It seems like well its pretty hard setting up a date where we can work on this project. But we really need to coordinate the days and times we can meet up and do our project.

I think with this project there would be some conflict with in the answers that we may get. Like for example, I do believe that many people we interview will deny that they are guilty of PDA but they really are just lying to us. I just think that could be a problem because then the point of the survey and interview will loose some of its purpose because we are trying to get account if they are guilty of it, which is a part of our main topic.

Also I think that could be a contention is the reactions and opinions we will get when we ask the different age groups. I think that if we ask most students they wont think PDA is bad but I do believe that most adults will say its bad to show your affection to a certain level. Like holding hands, hugging etc won’t be too much of a big deal with both groups but when it comes down “deep down” to the more explicit side of PDA I think there will be some conflict.

Investigative Journalism #2

Over the weekend I had spent about two hours of reasearch. basically going around the mall looking and taking account of how many people I saw publically displaying their affection. I had saw a bunch about 5 couples in the mall displaying their affection. thats all the reasearch I did over the weekend.

Investigative Journalism #1

Our project is on PDA or Public Display of Affection. Basically if its alright to show your affection to your partner in public in a passionate manner. My partners for this project is Juliana and Doug. Our main goal for this project is to get the opinions of the staff, students and random people on PDA. For example how would you react to if you witnessed a couple publicaly displaying their affection for each other on a daliy basis. i do believe that many people will think it is not right to publically display their affection but they are guilty of it at the same time.
